Had a good tour of the Apollo 11 Lunar Landar Site. As you walk through the area you are able to tour various
spacecrafts which were used for different expeditions. You come upon screens as well which show astronauts,
satellites and space probes. The students in my class would enjoy this site. It would give the some insite into
the space program of today.
It was a great space program while it lasted!
Wicked Quasimodo has packed up his amazing Saturn V Apollo 11 flight to the Moon. Wicked's creation enjoyed a long run on Space Frontier Workplace.. Many people enjoyed blasting off, watching the stages separate, orbiting Earth, transferring to the Lunar Module, landing on the Moon. And being marooned there until the megaprim de-rezzed!
Luckily the plans were not confiscated, the production line was not closed and all the leftover parts were not sold to Norton Sales Inc., so it's still possible to get to the Moon the old-fashioned way - if you're Wicked Quasimodo.
Thanks Wicked, for building it on Space Frontier and giving so many people the chance to virtually do what so few have done for real. Here's hoping your next project will be a 21st Century rocket!
