Solar System:
This is a place that you can see all the things in the universe. You can use telescopes to look at planets, the sun , stars, comets, and meteorites. There are many things to do like going to the observatory, section on meteors, section on planets, and a section on the moon. It has information on rockets and outer space vehicles.
This is a good introduction for students to view what is in the universe before reading about it. In Physics you can introduce Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation. This is to show how the planets orbit around the sun. Gravity is what keeps things in place and things fall at a rate of 9.8 m/s/s.
TEKS: Physics 4A3B, and 6A.
