On the Island you find a very small area of information on some scientists. There is not much to do here, but the information given is very good. The first scientist I looked at was Galileo Galilei. On the billboard with his picture on it had information about him. If you touched on the board, it will send you to wikipedia and more information is given. As you walk around the temple, you will see other scientists and information about the "Temple of Science". Some of the billboards you touch will send you to a video about that scientist. Examples: 1. Sir Isaac Newton - the video was about motion, NASA, gravity and about him. 2. Albert Einstien - his video did not work. 3. Charles Darwin - video called "Who Was Charles Darwin?" Other information was on Sputnik and Astrolabe: What it is and how to use this instrument (by Ted website - TED.com). This place has a web site you can go to: www.templeofscience.com

I can use this place when I am ready to introduce the scientists or a timeline of science. Students can watch the video and read the billboard to get information. For Physics, the video on Sir Isaac Newton is very good for an introduction on motion and gravity.
