This interactive Second Life site at Illnois State, Geography-Geology Dept., allows students to learn about the following faults: dip-slip, strike-slip, and oblique-slip. In addition, students can observe the land as it moves by touching the blue square as indicated on some of the illustrations. This would be an excellent resource for 6th and 8th grade students as well as students in Earth and Space Science (11th & 12th grades) and Geology, Meterology, and Oceanography (11th & 12th grades).
