    I haven't explored this one yet. The picture is an astronomy site. The island I am facing away from in the picture is a computational astronomy site. {Astronomy.jpg}

has some very good interactive activities for both high school and middle school students. Biology studnts can go underwater and investigate different bacteria and how they behave and interact with each other. They will also see how scientist are working to develop bacteria that will be used to clean up oil spills. Check it out and see what else this site has t offer!!!

This island is a great resource for Biology teachers. Students can explore Gregor Mendel's peas as they investigate monohybrid crosses. They can also go down to the Bunny Hutch and experiment with male and female bunnies to see their offspring.
This site is a great site for both high school and middle school students.

Water Exhibits - Science Centre Singapore, The Tech 2 - General
At this location, you can find out about water. There are different exhibits on the properties of water. The students can see the structure of the water in different exhibits. One exhibit shows how the atoms are connected and the other shows how the electrons revolve around the nucleus of the atoms. The Leaking Drum exhibit sends you to a wiki for more information and describes how physics places a role on how water flows and hits the ground at the same time and in different places. Buoyancy is another property of water. It is shown by the exhibit called “The Trouble with Icebergs”. The Coriolis Fountain is defined and how it works. There is also a Popular Mechanics Web link by Shawn Fray (inventor and developer) he Coriolis Fountain is defined and how it works. There is also a Popular Mechanics Web link by Shawn Fray (inventor and developer) and Citilab.
The properties and structure of water is studied in Chemistry. When we go over water, I can show the students the different structures from this location. I can record it through the mimio recorder and play it back for my students. I can show the Leaking Drum to my physics and have a discussion on why water falls at the same rate and at different places.

    NASA eEducation Isaland Main Building
Pretty interesting site. As you walk in you approach an information desk with an information book or LTP Info.book. As you touch this book it refers to the various areas you may come across. For example a virtual lab which I thought would be pretty interesting to my middle school students. I proceeded further into the site where I was offered a chance to see the Solar Sstem Ambassador website. This site went on to explain how this program was developed to motivate volunteers across the nation to communicate excitment of JPL's space exploration missions. It too would be interesting to my students because it would bring insite into the behind the scenes of space exploration. I continued until I came across a rocket and took my picture that follows:

Below is the guide I received from a notecard.
    NASA Educator Guide Information
    3…2…1…Liftoff! Educator Guide
A NASA Educator Guide for pre-K through 2nd grade focuses on activities about the ISS and the role rockets play in its construction.
Available online and at NASA CORE.
    Rockets Educator Guide
The activities and lesson plans contained in this educator guide for grades K-12 emphasize land-on science, prediction, data collection, and interpretation, teamwork and problem solving. The guid also contains background information about the history of rockets and basic rocket science.
    Exploring the Moon Educator Guide
The activities in this guide promote problem solving, communicatin skills and teamwork. Earth and space science subjects include lunar geology and regolith, distance to the moon, Apollo landing sites and life support systems.
    Aeronautics Educator Guide
Try these activities with students in grades 2-4. The three chapters are (1)Air, (2)Flight and (3)We Can Fly, You and I. They are designed to be fun and simple and have been tested in countless homes, classrooms and teacher workshops.
    Exploring Earth From Space
ISS EarthKAM Photography - A Lithograph Set and Instructional Materials that includes an Educators Guide and 14 lithographs.
    The Air We Breathe
This colorful picture book is designed to introduce Earth's atmosphere and its importance to life on Earth. It's appropriate for students in grades K-4.
Lunar Nautics: Designing a Mission to Live and Work on the Moon
The Lunar Nautics Educator Guide has 40 activities. Students assume roles of workers at Lunar Nautics Space Systems, Inc., a fictional aerospace company specializing in mission management, lunar habitat and exploration design, and scientific research.
    Moon Munchies Educator Guide
Big Idea: The engineering design process helps humans to solve the problems of growing plants for food on the moon.
Plant growth will be an important part of space exploration in the future as NASA plans for long-duration missions to the moon. NASA scientists anticipate that astronauts may be able to grow plants on the moon, and the plants could be used to supplement meals.
These and other Educator Guides are available online and at NASA CORE.
